Russian economy faces WIPEOUT as Putin braces for Soviet-era collapse –leaked Kremlin memo
The Daily Express: RUSSIAN economy is in its worst state of the post-Soviet era as the country feels the continued bite of Western sanctions over Ukraine, a leaked forecast from the Russian finance ministry has revealed.
In the revealed document, the ministry predicts a painful 12pc tumble in Russia’s GCDP for 2022. This is the most significant fall since Boris Yeltsin came to the helm in 1994 for the post-Soviet transition, and will see ten years of growth vanish.
