The mum-of-one took to her Twitter account this evening [September 25] to tease fans about her long-awaited musical comeback – posted a picture of her tatttooed hand holding an NFL football and seemingly confirming the rumours are true.
NFL shared the same image to their own Twitter page, captioning their tweet: “Let’s GO – @rihanna @rocnation #SBLVII @AppleMusic @NFLonFOX.”
Fans have already gone wild with excitement about her upcoming return to the world of music, after waiting for the singer’s latest album for several years now.
Confirmation that the Umbrella singer will be headlining the iconic half-time show later this year comes after it was reported that Taylor Swift turned down the chance to follow in the footsteps of Beyonce, Coldplay and Katy Perry and perform during the sports event too.
