Queer Eye fan favourite Tom Jackson, who appeared in the first-ever episde of the rebooted Netflix show, has died aged 63.
Jackson appeared as the ‘hero’ receiving a makeover from hosts Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Antoni Porowski.
The show announced his death on their official social media accounts, writing: ‘It’s with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a member of our Queer Eye family. Rest in peace, Tom Jackson.’
Alongside the statement the Netflix show shared sweet pictures from his epissode with the team.
Jackson died on March 3 from metastatic adenocarcinoma, a type of cancer that forms in the gland tissues, according to his obituary.
Cast member Tan France posted a response on Instagram, writing: ‘Such incredibly sad news.’
