Queen cancels engagements as mild Covid persists
Royal officials have said HM the Queen has cancelled her virtual engagements for Tuesday as she is still experiencing mild cold-like symptoms from Covid.
It was confirmed on Sunday that the Queen had tested positive for Covid – and assuring the public, Buckingham Palace confirmed her symptoms were mild and that she would continue with “light duties.”
There have been no official confirmations on whether the Queen will carry out any further engagements this week – including a weekly call with the PM.
At present, it is still planned for Her Majesty to attend an in-person engagement at a diplomatic reception in Windsor Castle next week.
