Police reviewing Wayne Rooney’s blackmail claims

Former England football star Wayne Rooney’s complaint of blackmail is being reviewed by police.

Rooney filed a complaint of blackmail in relation to photographs of him with three young women that were shared online.

The images appear to show Rooney asleep in a chair with unknown women posing beside him.

Cheshire Police said it was “reviewing” the complaint.
