Police hunt Katie Piper acid attacker
The man who attacked Katie Piper with acid is being hunted by police after breaching his licence condition.
Stefan Sylvestre was sentenced to life for throwing sulphuric acid on the model and campaigner Katie Piper’s face – on the orders of her former partner.
Despite being sentenced to life in 2009, he was released on licence in 2018 – and has now been recalled to prison.
Sylvestre lives in Shephard’s Bush and is being sought by police with the help of the Probation Service.
Piper’s ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch, who ordered the attack, was sentenced to life in 2009 with a minimum of 16 years for sexually assaulting the model and for ordering the acid attack.
A Probation Service spokesperson said: “We are urgently working with the police to bring the offender back to prison, where he’ll face longer behind bars.”
