The Glasgow Times previously reported that several roads in Govan were locked down by cops following a road traffic collision around 6.35am.

Harmony Row between Helen Street and Harmony Square and Crossloan Road between Elder Street and Harmony Row were closed to all traffic, but have since re-opened.

The force confirmed that a person has been taken to hospital, but did not give any more information regarding the crash.

However, they did say that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.35am on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, we were called to a report of a road crash on Harmony Row, Glasgow.

“One person has been taken to hospital following this crash. Enquiries are ongoing.”
