Only Fools and Horses star Patrick Murray has been battling intense pain after finding out his cancer had returned.
Best known for playing Mickey Pearce in the beloved sitcom, the actor, 66, was previously diagnosed with lung cancer before getting the all clear last year, however it is now back.
While he said he was receiving treatment and was feeling ‘positive’ about what lay ahead, he’s now shared the toll it’s taken on his body after spreading to his bones.
He’s explained that the pain caused by the return of the disease has been so intense, he’s barely been able to walk.
‘It has been absolute agony, murder,’ he said.
‘Every time I put my weight on my legs and hips I’m screaming in my head as I’m trying to walk.

‘The loo for me is ten yards away, and when I get there, I feel like I’ve walked half way round the world,’ he added when speaking to The Sun.
The pain has also now become so unbearable that he needs to use a wheelchair to go grocery shopping.
But after starting radiology treatment recently, Patrick is now starting to feel far better.
‘The pain is getting less, which is fantastic,’ he said.
‘I should be able to walk again soon.’
The actor, who played Mickey Pearce in 20 episodes of Only Fools and Horses between 1983-2003, explained that he was told about the return of his cancer after going through an operation which involved cutting away two-thirds of his liver to relieve another cancerous tumour.
But while he thought being told his cancer had spread would be devastating news, Patrick has said he’s been reassured he still has years left because of advances in chemotherapy, treatment that he will begin next week.
He joked that while he may go bald, ‘luckily I’m famous for wearing a hat’.

In a statement sharing the update on his cancer diagnosis last week, Patrick said he thought he had a painful groin strain a couple of months ago, but it turned out to be ‘the cancer getting into my pelvis and leg bones’.

After saying he was feeling optimistic, the star was also flooded with support from fans, who sent their well-wishes.
After Only Fools and Horses ended, Patrick went on to appear in movies including The Firm and Curse of The Pink Panther, later quitting acting to work as a taxi driver in Kent.
Only Fools and Horses is streaming on ITVX.
