Nick Cannon revealed he had updates on his friend Jamie Foxx’s medical condition that saw the star hospitalised while filming a movie with Cameron Diaz.
The star, 42, was questioned over Jamie’s health during a promotional chat about his upcoming radio show The Daily Cannon.
Jamie, 55, was first admitted into the care of medical professionals while on set for a new action film he was shooting with his Annie co-star Cameron, 50.
Nick admitted he was ‘praying’ that his friend would make a recovery soon and said: ‘You see, I posted on Instagram.
‘I literally have been saying prayers out loud. Words of affirmation for my big brother.
‘I know he’s doing so much better because I’m actually about to do something special for him, and doing him a favour.

‘I can’t really say what it is, but it’ll be out there soon.’
He continued explaining; ‘I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so, we love it.
‘That’s family right there.’
Nick uploaded a photo of the pair after the news broke that the Django Unchained actor was undergoing tests in the hospital.

‘Sickness, Low frequencies nor negativity have any authority over your life King! [sic].’
The celebrated star fell ill during scenes for a new action Netflix movie he is making with Cameron and Glenn Close earlier this month.
Sharing no specific details, his family alerted fans to his health scare at the time and it was reported that he was to remain at a health facility in Georgia.
His 29-year-old daughter Corinne Foxx updated social media users and posted a statement that said: ‘We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.
