Never Again
The memory of all of those who served must be preserved, our stories must be shared when we are gone and, as a country, we must educate the youth to ensure the world never sees a repeat of World War II.
Today all of Scotland pays tribute to the generation who sacrificed so much to maintain our freedom in the face of fascist tyranny.
It was 80 years ago today that Victory in Europe was declared and the spectre of Nazi domination was vanquished. Today there will be celebrations in villages, towns and cities as those who fought for our freedom look on with pride.
