Muslim family killed in Canada – 4 dead in ‘terrorist attack’ – Canada’s Trudeau 

Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau has labelled the killing of four members of a Muslim family as a “terrorist attack.” The victims were run down by a man driving a pick-up truck as they walked along a sidewalk. 

“This killing was no accident. This was a terrorist attack, motivated by hatred, in the heart of one of our communities,” Trudeau said during a speech at the House of Commons. 

A husband and wife, their teenage daughter and a woman identified as the man’s mother have been identified as the victims. The couple’s 9-year-old son was hospitalised following the attack and is recovering.
