More than 300,000 suspected of breaking quarantine rules
The BBC has reported that nearly a third of people who arrived in England and Northern Ireland whilst the Delta variant took off may have broken quarantine rules.
The news site says more than 300,000 cases were passed to investigators between March and May – the BBC say they have seen the figures.

No 10 was unable to say how many of these were found to have broken the rules or could not be traced.
The Home Office claims it tries to pay home visits to anyone who they suspect are not following travel quarantine rules.
Labour’s Nick Thomas-Symonds says the figures “confirm our worst fears” about the government’s “lax border policy.”
And he accused the Home Office of “gross negligence”.
Kids jabbed
It is expected the UK is set to approve the vaccination of healthy kids aged 12-15 as part of a plan to control the virus this winter.
The PM is set to announce plans to rid the government of Covid powers that are no longer needed – such as the legal authority to shut down schools and some businesses.
PM Boris Johnson is likely to emphasise the importance of vaccines in allowing the country to return to some sort of normal life and is set to lay out plans for a third dose as a booster – which will be offered to the elderly first.
