Millie Gibson looked like she didn’t have a care in the world amid rumours she has been dropped by Doctor Who.
The former Coronation Street actress, 19, made her debut as the Time Lord’s companion, Ruby Tuesday, in the Christmas special, but it has been claimed she will not return for a second season.
Millie, who starred opposite Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor in the Russell T Davies sci-fi series, has not addressed the claims but shared a picture on her Instagram Stories while away on holiday.
In the snap, the Butterfly actress is pictured from behind with her back facing the camera in a rock pool near the bottom of a cascading waterfall surrounded by trees.
The Love, Lies and Records star looked sensational in a blue bikini as she took some time off from her busy acting career.
On Saturday, it was reported that Doctor Who showrunner Russell had already written out Millie’s Ruby Tuesday in forthcoming scripts, with a source claiming that she will only be back ‘to tie up loose ends’.

‘Russell is keeping things moving and isn’t letting the grass grow, that’s for sure.’
The publication added that Millie will only make a handful of appearances across Barbie star Ncuti’s second series as the Time Lord, airing in 2025.
The eight episodes she has already filmed air from May.
