A vomiting illness affected at least seven passengers on an easyJet flight from Hurghada to Edinburgh on 3 November. The aircraft was met by medical services upon landing due to the passengers developing flu-like symptoms, including nausea and severe vomiting.

Aircraft operations at Edinburgh Airport resumed after flight EZY3320 from Hurghada to Edinburgh landed on 3 November, where medical services greeted the aircraft. An outbreak of a similar nature was reported on another EasyJet flight two weeks prior, raising concerns over potential food contamination at the airport.

EasyJet reported that medical services were prepared to assist upon landing after several passengers on flight EZY3320 from Hurghada to Edinburgh fell ill with flu-like symptoms, prompting the airline to investigate food contamination at the airport as a potential cause. The airline emphasised its commitment to the wellbeing of customers and crew, ensuring that all necessary measures would be taken in response to the incident.

What remains unclear — It is not known whether the recent vomiting illness is linked to food contamination or another cause.
