Married at First Sight UK favourites Jordan Emmett Connelly and Chanita Stephenson have reportedly split after filming for the show ended.

The couple – who renewed their wedding vows in scenes which aired last week – are said to no longer be together after he cut all contact with her once they wrapped the E4 reality show.

During tonight’s ‘explosive’ episode, the cast reunites for a final dinner party with the couple, both 29, arriving separately with their fellow stars stunned to find out they’re no longer together.

‘Jordan and Chanita’s marriage hasn’t lasted,’ an insider told MailOnline.

‘Chanita tried everything to keep the spark they had in the initial weeks of them meeting alive but a relationship is about two people – and Jordan no longer seemed interested.

‘Once filming for the series had ended, Jordan took a step back, and stopped messaging her completely – Chanita was heartbroken because she really saw a future for them together.’

In an Instagram Q&A this week, Chanita insisted the ‘reunion dinner party’ was the “most intense” one to film, although she suggested viewers might not get to ‘see the full extent’ of what went down due to its earlier time slot tonight.

Thanks to the new series of Made In Chelsea, tonight’s episode airs before the watershed at 8pm.

She explained: ‘The most intense is the reunion dinner party, that blew all the others out the water.

‘The fact that it’s on 8pm tomorrow before the watershed I feel like you’re not going to see the full extent of it but without a doubt it was the reunion dinner party,’ she told fans.

In the penultimate episode of the show, the couples come together for one last dinner party to delve into how their respective romances panned out away from filming.

During last week’s edition, Jordan and Chanita had opened up in their final vows and admitted they ‘cared deeply’ about each other.

‘I love who you are and everything you stand for, and I am so excited to see what the future has in store for us,’ she told him.

‘I can’t wait to make plans as a couple and do everything I’ve never done with you. You’re my husband and my naughty partner in crime.’

However, she also admitted to having some doubts over whether or not he would ‘be ready to allow [her] fully’ into his life, and added: ‘I need more reassurance from you to fully feel secure moving forward.’

Jordan insisted at the time he was ‘ready to give [her] all the reassurance’ she ‘deserves’.

Metro.co.uk contacted Channel 4 for comment.

Married At First Sight UK continues tonight (October 17) at 8pm on E4.
