Manchester United are keeping tabs on Brighton star Evan Ferguson as Anthony Martial could be released next summer.
The Frenchman is out of contract at the end of the season, though the club have option of extending his deal by a further 12 months.
However, after an injury-hit 18 months, Martial is no longer the striker that set pulses racing when he joined the club in 2015.
In fact, Martial’s scored just 17 goals for United in the last three seasons – though he did spend part of that time on loan at Sevilla.
Though United spent £72m on Rasmus Hojlund this summer, Ten Hag remains keen on beefing up his attack.
And there’s few strikers on the market that are attracting as much attention as Ferguson.

The 18-year-old Irishman already has four goals in four Premier League appearances this season.
His displays since breaking into Brighton’s first team last season have been nothing short of sensational, and he’s been compared to Harry Kane for his playing style and finishing.

Brighton have shown their willingness to sell, provided teams meet their asking price.
Ferguson signed a new deal on the south coast last season but the Seagulls will listen to offers for him next summer, according to the Manchester Evening News.
It’s likely any deal for the Ireland forward would be a British transfer record, as Brighton value him at around £130m.
