Love Island viewers want Ruchee Gurung and André Furtado to be sent on a date (Picture: ITV)
Love Island viewers are not happy about the lack of screen time for one couple this series.
It seems their blossoming romance has been somewhat overshadowed by the first love triangle of the summer series.
Molly – whose mum is actress Janet Marsh – was left in tears earlier this week when Mitchel told their fellow Islanders that she was ‘closed off’, having been in a couple with him since the viewers played Cupid on day one.
She later sought comfort in Zachariah and confided in him… before ultimately choosing Mitchel in the first recoupling, while Zachariah ended up with Catherine Agbaje, as the girls had the power.

Despite loving all the drama, it’s left viewers feeling like they’re missing out.
When Ruchee chose to be with Andre in the recoupling, audiences were certain that they’d missed a few chapters, having wanted them to pair up for so long but not getting to witness the early stages of their partnership.
Taking to Twitter to vent, many said they ‘don’t care’ about the other couples right now, and are just desperate to see how things unfold with Ruchee and André, whose story seems to have faded into the background.
One person tweeted: ‘ruchee and andré deserve the world and more, including MORE SCREENTIME’.
‘Nah they is def so much we aint seeing. Please give ruchee and andre screen time’, another penned.
‘Ruchee and Andre have something going onnnn. Producers show us more please and thank you x’, another begged.
Another person quipped: ‘Since production is lacking I’m going to fly to Mallorca and set up a date for Ruchee & Andre my damn self’.
It’s safe to say Ruchee and André have the backing of the people, with many even calling for them to make the final, despite it still being early doors.
‘Ruchee & Andre for the win!!’, one Twitter user declared.
Another echoed: ‘Ruchee and Andre could win this whole thing if they play their cards right’.
But now that Ruchee and Andre are officially a couple, surely this means we’ll see more of them getting to know one another? We hope…
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
