Is Jordan Pickford going to Spurs? Tottenham reaction to transfer news
A report from the Telegraph has Tottenham fans thrilled after the newspaper reported Jordan Pickford was being considered by Antonio Conte as a potential replacement for Hugo Lloris.
Lloris, 34, will see his contract end in the summer and there has been no indication the club captain will be extending his stay in north London.
If Lloris does leave Spurs then the club will be in the market for a new number 1 goalkeeper. It has been reported that Pickford is the stopper Spurs has their eyes on with Conte keen to recruit a home grown option.
Lloris has accumulated 385 appearances for Tottenham Hotspurs since he arrived in 2012. Fans are rehoming at the potential signing of Pickford – the England No 1 – with some comparing his potential move to the club to that of Arsenal’s summer signing of Aaron Ramsdale.
Pickford has made 10 appearances for Everton in the Premier League this campaign, keeping three clean sheets.

Every time people disrespect Jordan Pickford he proves everyone wrong.
Aaron Ramsdale has been superb but he doesn’t touch Pickford’s #1 shirt.

If we are specifically targeting a homegrown goalkeeper, I think I’d prefer Dean Henderson, Nick Pope or Sam Johnstone.
Jordan Pickford is not as bad as some are making out though.
