TRT World says data shows trading volumes between the UAE and Israel jumped from $51 million in the first seven months of 2020 to $614 million over the same period in 2021.
Trade between Israel and countries in the Middle East and North Africa has accelerated significantly in 2021, following Tel Aviv’s normalisation of relations with several Arab states last year.
In the first seven months of 2021, trade grew by 234 per cent compared to the same period in 2020, according to figures cited by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics.
