Daily Mirror – Invaders will face tunnel bloodbath
The Daily Mirror says Israeli forces preparing for a ground invasion into Gaza are braced for a counteroffensive using miles of booby-trapped tunnels.
Battle plans found on dead Hamas fighters reveal that Israel’s soldiers will face a “fierce defence of Gaza”, reports the paper. It says Israeli troops are braced for a counter-assault in tunnels, and have been warned of booby traps and ambushes.
