The i newspaper – ‘I lied about Covid deal but did nothing wrong’ 

The i leads on comments from Conservative peer Baroness Mone where she admitted lying about a PPE deal during the COVID pandemic, but denied having done anything wrong.

The paper highlights Baroness Mone’s claim she has been made a “scapegoat” to cover up government failings, a point denied by Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden, who also appeared on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg.
