Eric Foster (Angus Castle-Doughty) has been caught out by Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer) in Hollyoaks, who discovered that he is online user True Eyed Loner.
Mason, as viewers know, joined the male forum earlier this year, hoping to seek advice in mustering up the courage to ask Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) out, unaware that radical misogynist Eric was also a user on the platform.
Eric, working out that Mason was the newcomer, used this as an opportunity to try and poison the teen’s mind with his own disturbed viewpoints about the world and women.
Mason quit the forum after a conversation with Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) led him to realise that the people on there were having a negative influence on him.
Eric’s behaviour has since spiralled out of control, with the misogynist spiking Lizzie’s drink earlier this week during a shift at The Love Boat.
Maxine, having seen firsthand what Eric was like, decided to test her theory of him being the spiker, as she returned to the scene of the crime the following day, forcing Eric to drink the beverages he’d served up.
Eric did just that to divert attention from him, but it soon became apparent that he had, in fact, spiked the drinks that he’d served the girls, and soon enough he started to feel the effects of it.

Mason, meanwhile, returned to the forum and realised that Maxine and Serena (Emma Lau) were being targeted by the spiker! He made a beeline for the Love Boat, where he found Eric struggling to stand up, and assisted in returning him to his caravan.

But as Eric passed out on his bed, he let go of the bottle in his hand, and Mason – upon inspecting it – came to realise that not only was Eric the True Eyed Loner user on the forum, but that he was also the spiker!
Is Eric’s time finally up? Can we expect him to be caught out any time soon?
Just what will Mason do with this information now that he knows what Eric is truly capable of?
