The Panesar family have been at the centre of the drama in EastEnders for the past few months, thanks to the arrival of patriarch Nish (Navin Chowdry). Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Shiv Jalota and Gurlaine Kaur Garcha tease what is to come for the family.
According to Gurlaine, who plays Ash Panesar, the main thing we can expect is family drama.

‘Who doesn’t love a bit of family drama?’ She said.
‘Even when you meet up with your mates and they’re like, “Guess what my brother did, or my dad or whatever,” and it’s that, it’s that real life drama that we bring to screen that the audience experience.

‘It’s exaggerated drama. There’s so much coming up. There’s beautiful family moments, there’s excitement, there’s a bit of everything!’
Vinny Panesar actor Shiv Jalota added: ‘A lot of fire, is how I’d describe it.’
Most of this drama is set to be caused by Nish Panesar following his release from prison.

‘We love Navin, he’s an incredible addition to the family.’ Gurlaine explained.
