GB News presenter Guto Harri quits, accuses channel of pandering to ‘far right’ after row over taking the knee
Guto Harri, the GB News presenter suspended after taking the knee on-air, has quit and accused the embattled channel of appealing to the “far right” after becoming an “absurd parody” of its original vision.
The move on Sunday evening came a day after the channel announced that Nigel Farage would present a nightly 7pm programme, in a bid to shore up its plummeting ratings.
Last week the “anti-woke” channel’s head of programming, John McAndrew, quit amid a power struggle over the station’s direction.
