Gary Neville has outlined three major problems for Chelsea after they let a two-goal lead slip in their home draw against Arsenal on Saturday.
Goals from Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk put Chelsea in control but Blues goalkeeper Robert Sanchez made a huge blunder as Declan Rice made it 2-1.
Leandro Trossard then silenced Stamford Bridge in the 84th minute as the Gunners ended Chelsea’s run of three straight wins in all competitions.
Neville, speaking about the match on his podcast, said: ‘Chelsea have shown a blueprint of what the future could look like.
‘They’ve still got a problem up front, they haven’t got a striker, and I still think they’ve got a problem with Thiago Silva’s age.
‘He’s so important for them, but he is 39. And then the goalkeeper… Can he step up to be a good goalkeeper?’
Neville has also singled out two Chelsea stars for praise as he added: ‘You can see that midfield, and in wide areas, they are bright.

‘The full-backs, Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto, did well today. And they are the second-choice full-backs, by the way.’
Neville’s praise of Gusto comes after Ian Wright’s criticism of the Chelsea defender.
‘It’s a great cross from Bukayo Saka [for Arsenal equaliser],’ the Gunners legend said. ‘I think Gusto has got to have a word with himself. They cannot let Saka come back inside. Gusto looks at him and leaves him.’
