Another explosive week in the village (Picture: ITV)

The moment Emmerdale fans have long been waiting for finally arrives, as Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) discovers the truth about Chas’ (Lucy Pargeter) sordid affair with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).

    Consider us very excited!

Cain makes the discovery in the wake of mum Faith’s (Sally Dexter) funeral, as he finds Chas’ burner phone and calls the mystery number on the other end – a moment which you can catch a glimpse of below.

The mechanic wastes little time in swooping into action, as he sets in motion a revenge plan to make Al pay for what he’s done, holding his nemesis hostage at gunpoint in a barn nearby.

But when a gunshot goes off – who has been shot?

Desperate for a sneak peek of all the drama to come?

We thought you might be, and thus we’ve got three brand new preview clips of next week’s goings-on in the village to tide you over until Monday (October 31).

You don’t have to thank us, honestly.
