Emmerdale spoiler video: Rhona’s terror for Mary amid sad exit plot

Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) has made the difficult decision to leave her family and the Emmerdale village behind to move to Ecuador with new love interest, Faye.

However, this isn’t something that her family find easy to come to terms with, as two new spoiler videos suggest.

Mary was horrified to learn that Faye’s women’s shelter had tragically burnt down, meaning that Faye would need to fly back to Ecuador to sort things out, though Mary didn’t want her to go alone.

In the first clip, Mary reveals her plans to April and Leo (Amelia Flanagan and Harvey Rogerson), who are disappointed to learn that she will be leaving.

As she explains that she will be joining Faye in Ecuador, daughter Rhona (Zoe Henry) is clearly upset by the news, though she keeps her concerns to herself as Mary explains that it’s what she really wants.

When she tells April that she hasn’t felt this happy in a long time, April encourages her to follow her heart, and Faye.

Leo, on the other hand, is upset to see Mary go, and signs that he will miss her.

In an attempt to soften the blow, Mary promises that they can video call all the time, and even invites them over for a holiday.

In the second video, Rhona finally gets Mary alone, and manages to tell her how she really feels.

She is terrified that her mother is rushing into things too quickly, having only met Faye a couple of months prior.

She urged her to be sensible, and not ‘move her whole life away for a stranger’.

Rhona admitted that she was worried that Mary was making the wrong decision, and begged her not to go.
