Emma Willis has thrown support behind her ‘best friend and partner in crime’ Matt Willis ahead of the National Television Awards.
The Busted musician, 40, is up for the authored documentary gong and is competing against Lewis Capaldi, Rob Burrow and the late Dame Deborah James in the category.
TV presenter Emma, 47, said she had her ‘fingers crossed’ for her husband who is hoping for the prize for his feature about his struggles with addiction.
On Instagram, she shared a picture of herself and Matt beaming and looking blissful, wearing matching sunglasses, describing it as ‘the look of love and pride.’
She continued: ‘I’m a lucky lucky lady to walk through life with this man. My best friend, partner in crime and pain in the ass 😉 I wouldn’t have it any other way….
‘It’s a big night for @mattjwillis tomorrow as it’s @officialntas time. Good luck babe, I’ve got my fingers, toes and eye balls crossed for you.

In Fighting Addiction, the Crashed the Wedding singer, who has now been sober for five years, explored his decades-long battle with substance abuse that saw him at one point 6 grams of coke alone every day.
At the peak of his drug-taking and alcoholism, Emma revealed she had kept a diary detailing exactly what Matt had taken – which she still keeps in a drawer in their bedroom.

He continued: ‘We’ve been quite private with our lives, and not really opened up before. I felt like that was such a powerful part of it. She went through everything with me.’
