Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu vows to ditch lip fillers and embrace natural look after Love Island: ‘I didn’t like the fake look’

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed she is set to embrace her natural beauty after Love Island, by going back to her natural hair colour and ditching her lip fillers.

The reality star, 28, and boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, 27, emerged victorious from Love Island 2022, and despite dominating this year’s series, Ekin-Su revealed that she wants to switch up her look after seeing herself on screen.

Addressing whether the taboo no longer exists around plastic surgery, Ekin-Su told The Guardian: ‘People now realise you can’t lie.

‘Nobody’s stupid, it just makes you look fake if you say, “I haven’t had anything done,” when you clearly have.’

When it comes to her own procedures, Ekin-Su revealed she was planning to strip things back, adding: ‘Get rid of the blonde highlights, go back to my natural colour – I’m getting it dyed this afternoon.

‘Whatever lip filler I have, I’m going to dissolve. I didn’t like the fake look. I think natural beauty is a lot prettier. I’ve not had anything major done to myself, right? OK, apart from the boobs.’

Ekin-Su also addressed the sexualisation of its stars and the open dialogue of their exploits in the villa bedroom, albeit under the euphemism of the ‘beauty salon’.

Despite the contestants discussing what had happened between the sheets, Ekin-Su revealed that none of this year’s cohort had actually had full sex.

She explained: ‘It’s a new villa. There is this much space [about 10 inches] between the beds. Who was going to have sex when there’s cameras everywhere?

‘People were doing things towards the end, like “blow drying”. That was real, but no one actually had their salon open.’

Ekin-Su also admitted it took her and Davide a while to ‘relax’ enough to consummate their relationship outside of the villa despite having shared many a passionate row on the show, revealing: ‘The time wasn’t right.’
