This is the tense moment that sees a clearly enraged Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) chucks boyfriend Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) out of her house, having discovered the secret he has been concealing.
Viewers were aware before Sonia that Reiss is married, although few details have followed regarding her identity and the situation as a whole.
Now, in coming episodes, it seems Sonia stumbles upon the truth and, understandably, she is not happy.
Trying to explain himself, Reiss is shocked to be given his marching orders, and it seems like the end of the road for the pair.
Reiss and Sonia met on the day of Dot Cotton’s funeral, and have bonded other their shared love of brass instruments and an unexpected but sweet chemistry.
But, Reiss has another life that he hasn’t shared with Sonia, setting her up for heartbreak and making many fans dismiss him as a rat.

While we wonder what is going on, Jonny recently insisted that his alter ego’s feelings for Sonia are genuine.
Addressing fan reactions, he added: ‘It’s all been very positive.
‘I think some people are still quite suspicious of Reiss and were quite suspicious of him with regards to the Jed storyline but equally, I guess it’s a different type of relationship.
‘It’s a lot softer which is the personality of Sonia and Reiss so I think they’re quite a good match.’
It may take a lot for Sonia to be convinced of this once she knows that Reiss has been lying to her.

It remains to be seen whether Sonia will give Reiss the chance to explain his side of the story, and whether it’s enough for him to win a second chance.
Whatever the outcome, Jonny is loving being part of the show’s cast.
‘Everybody has been so welcoming and I’m very lucky to have been working so closely with the lovely Natalie Cassidy who is not only a fantastic actress but a delightful person,’ the actor enthused.
The tense scenes between Sonia and Reiss will air in scenes of the week commencing May 8.
