Eco-warriors from Just Stop Oil were at the centre of a furious bust up between drivers after they blocked a busy London roundabout.
The protestors sat down on a busy road around St George’s Circus in Southwark, south London on their 13th day of protests.
One driver got out of his car and pushed a protestor, before a second witness shouted: ‘Don’t touch him, oi, leave him alone. What do you think you’re f***ing doing? Let the police deal with it.’
The man replied: ‘Where’s the f***ing police then?’
ut the other man said: You can’t f***ing attack them like that, you can’t touch them, you can’t f***ing physically attack them. Stupid c***.’
Passers-by ripped banners from the group, before other people gave them back.
Video shows furious drivers trying to manhandle demonstrators in the road– with the group vowing to continue its action until the end of the month.
The activists, who back peaceful protest, did not respond to the pushing and dragging captured on camera, nine days into their campaign.

The demonstrators established a series of roadblocks from 9am this morning on routes around St George’s Circus in Southwark, which is located between Lambeth North and Elephant and Castle Underground stations.
An ambulance on an emergency call also appeared to be blocked by the protest today, with a video showing it sitting stationery with its flashing blue lights on.
The junction is about 1,000 yards from St Thomas’ Hospital.
But a cyclist came up to the activists and fist bumped them, saying: ‘Thank you, nice one, thank you man, thank you, cheers mate, I live round here and I really appreciate this. The filth that is pumped out. Really appreciate it.’
The activists continued to sit on the roads with banners and some glued themselves to the Tarmac, as they continued their campaign demanding that the Government halts all new oil and gas licences and consents.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said at 10.20am today: ‘The Met has rapidly deployed to today’s protests at St George’s Circus near Blackfriars at 9.30am.
‘Officers have arrested 11 people so far.
‘Westminster Bridge Road has limited access. Officers are working as quickly as possible to get traffic flowing again.
‘Some protesters have glued themselves to the ground. Our specialist teams are on scene and are working quickly to remove them.’
Yesterday members of Just Stop Oil and Insulate Britain tried to halt Prime Ministers Questions as they glued themselves to roads outside of Downing Street and Westminster.
So far 300 arrests have been made in their almost two weeks of action in the capital.
