Donald Trump sued over lies and January 6 riot by Capitol police
The Metro says seven Capitol Police officers have filed a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump and more than a dozen far-right members over the deadly January 6 insurrection at the Capitol.
The suit filed on Thursday is the first to allege that Trump worked with far-right extremists as well as political organizers to push his unfounded claims of fraud in the 2020 presidential election, The New York Times reported.
