Ex-President Donald Trump’s eldest son admitted it was a ‘rough day’ testifying in court on the same day he learned that his father’s older sister died.
Donald Trump Jr addressed his aunt Maryanne Trump Barry’s death after returning to the witness stand in the New York civil fraud trial on Monday.
‘Yeah, obviously a little bit of a rough day, but I still got to deal with this stuff,’ he told reporters outside New York Supreme Court in the afternoon.
‘So you got to keep doing it. That’s the nature of all of this, but no, it’s a rough day for myself and my family.’
Trump Jr said he found out about Barry’s death literally as he pulled up to the courthouse in the morning.
‘Not a great swing thought, you know, the back of your head as you’re going to deal with this sort of insanity,’ he said.
