Donald Trump dumped after nine years by accountancy firm
The Metro says An accounting firm associated with the Trump Organization for the last nine years has cut ties with the former president.
Mazars USA said their was a conflict of interest and that statements made by Trump Organization could no longer be viewed as reliable.
Mazars Group General Counsel William Kelly wrote to the company’s chief legal officer Alan Garten saying the firm’s work between 2011 and 2020 ‘should not be relied upon’.
He said: ‘We have come to this conclusion based, in part, upon the filings made by the New York Attorney General on January 18, 2022, our own investigation, and information received from internal and external sources.
