Times are set to get tougher for Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) in EastEnders as he is arrested on the day of his son Albie Watts’ christening.
On the morning of the occasion, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) reminds Keanu that there is big money on the table for the delivery job he offered to him at a time of need.
Keanu is at first unsure what to do but decides to take the job, making an excuse to leave the church and get the details of the job.
But the plan goes awry as Keanu is running late for the christening, parking at the church with the van and the drugs he was set to deliver.
When the van alarm goes off during the service, he rushes outside only to find the police waiting to arrest him – much to the shock of his partner and Albie’s mother, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
Following the ordeal, things aren’t over for Keanu as he is subjected to shocking violence when he is released on bail – but will he pull through?

For now, we won’t be saying goodbye to Keanu, though he is set to be left clinging to life following a vicious attack.

After being released on bail following his arrest, he is subjected to a violent assault where he’s found unconscious and immediately rushed to hospital.
Letitia Dean confirmed his fate while talking about the future of their characters and relationship.
Speaking about the relationship between Sharon and Keanu’s mother Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley), she said:
‘Karen holds Keanu on a pedestal and refuses to see any of his flaws,’ Letitia explained. ‘Sharon on the other hand represents trouble, and so whenever Keanu finds himself in a sticky situation, Karen defaults that Sharon must be to blame!

‘I don’t think Sharon will ever be good enough for Keanu in Karen’s eyes but ultimately they both love Keanu and they both want the best for him. Whether they can eventually see eye to eye on the matter is a different story!’
She continued that she is hopeful for Sharon and Keanu’s relationship following his ordeal.
‘I’d like to think they can find a way forward after all of this,’ she told us. ‘This isn’t the first stumbling block in their relationship, and I’m sure it won’t be the last! Sharon has just been faced with the possibility of losing Keanu so whatever anger she had towards him for the arrest has quickly turned into concern for his safety. They have a son together, and they really do love each other so I hope that will prevail.’
