Manchester United star Diogo Dalot is not interested in a move to Barcelona and wants to sign a new deal to remain at Old Trafford.
The Portugal international has cemented his spot as a starter since Erik ten Hag’s arrival at the Theatre of Dreams, which has limited Aaron Wan-Bissaka to just four minutes of competitive football this term.
It represents a remarkable turnaround for Dalot, whose United career appeared over when the club spent £50m on Wan-Bissaka in 2019.
Dalot started 24 matches last term as Ralf Rangnick favoured his ball-playing ability and he’s made great strides again this season.
His performances have seen him attract interest from Barcelona, with Xavi keen to sign a new long-term right-back.
Dalot has less than a year left on his deal at Old Trafford, though the club have the option of extending that by a further 12 months.

United are yet to open negotiations with Dalot over a new deal, which has alerted Barcelona.
But the Manchester Evening News say Dalot is not interested in moving to the Camp Nou and wants to sign a new deal at the Theatre of Dreams.
