Following the release of bombshell memoir Spare, many wondered if Prince Harry would attend King Charles III’s coronation.
After all the ‘will he, won’t he’ speculation, the big day has now come and gone – with The King and wife Queen Camilla officially being crowned on Saturday, May 6 2023.
May 6 was also the birthday of Harry’s son Prince Archie, who turned four years old.
So, did Harry go to the coronation in the end? Or did he sit the royal event out?

Did Prince Harry go to the coronation of King Charles III?
Prince Harry did attend his father’s coronation at Westminster Abbey in London.

The Duke of Sussex flew to the UK on Friday, reports say. He attended without wife Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.
It was confirmed ahead of time by Buckingham Palace that she would not attend and would stay in California with the couple’s children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Prince Harry entered Westminster Abbey and was seated in the third row of a section packed with Royal Family members.
He was sat next to pregnant Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank, plus Princess Alexandra, who was Queen Elizabeth II’s first cousin.

The historic Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla took place in Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6 – with celebrations continuing into the bank holiday Monday.

Joining him in the row were Princess Beatrice, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Prince Andrew.
Prince Harry was sat behind Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, as well as other royals, including Prince Edward, The Duke of Kent.
In the front row were The Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, while Page of Honour Prince George was seated elsewhere.
Prince Harry wore a morning suit for the occasion, along with military medals, and did not perform any official role in the ceremony – nor did he appear on Buckingham Palace’s balcony for the flypast.

It was quite the flying visit, though, with Prince Harry spending around 28 hours in the UK total.
Shortly after the ceremony ended, he was snapped getting into a car outside of the Abbey. The Duke then travelled to Heathrow Airport.
He reportedly touched down at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday morning at 3.30am UK time – around 7.30pm on Saturday local time.
