Who will be crowned this year’s champion? (Credits: PA)
Dancing on Ice is almost over for another year, with the final of the 15th series taking place tonight (Sunday March 12).
Just three finalists remain in the competition, after The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran and Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher were both booted off last week in a brutal double dumping.
Sadly, skating legends and Dancing On Ice Judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will not be able to perform tonight, after Jayne suffered an injury in training.
But what time will we be able to see Joey Essex, Nile Wilson and The Vivienne skate for the final time?
And what routines will they be performing this week?
Let’s find out.
When is Dancing on Ice on?
The grand final of Dancing on Ice will start at 6:30pm tonight and will last an hour and a half, finishing at 8:30.
The show will air live on ITV1.
But you will also be able to stream it live or catch up later through the ITVX player.
What are the routines on Dancing on Ice this week?
This year’s finalists will be trying to impress the judges with three separate routines in tonight’s final.
Of course, as always, they will be reimagining Torvill and Dean’s iconic bolero dance.
They will also be performing a showcase piece which will be taught to them by Torvill and Dean and will include extra professional skaters.
And finally, the third routine will be a ‘surprise’.
Dancing On Ice’s Creative Director Dan Whiston told The Mirror: ‘There is a new number that is coming in and I can’t give too much away about it but it’s super exciting and it will make a difference to the score and it will make a difference to the result.
‘Don’t want to give away too much, but there’s something new in the final to look out for!’
Who won Dancing on Ice 2022?
Regan Gascoigne and his professional skating partner Karina Manta were crowned champions of Dancing on Ice last year.
Struggling to hold back his tears as he lifted the trophy, Regan, son of football icon Paul Gascoigne, said: ‘I am so overwhelmed, I never thought it was possible.’
In his original performance, Regan’s skate, which was inspired by the circus and Torvill and Dean’s Barnum performance from the World Championships in 1983, left judge Jayne Torvill in tears.
She told him: ‘It is great to see that again, it puts a smile on my face every time I watch it, I think it is the fact that I know how difficult some of those moves are.’
