Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) have been on and off since 2021, so it’s safe to say that she has spent a lot of time with young Bertie.

It’s no wonder, then, that the child gets confused and accidentally calls her ‘mummy’.

Bertie is the son of Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn), who sadly died in 2019, when Bertie was only a baby.

In this new video, it is clear that Daisy doesn’t quite know what to do about her new title.

With Beth Tinker (Lisa George) upset by Bertie’s mistake, she questions Daisy on whether she taught him to say it.

Daisy protests her innocence, claiming that it is only the second time he has said it and that she didn’t know how to respond, with it being the anniversary of Sinead’s death.

Upon learning that he has said it before, Daniel is upset that Daisy kept it to herself, but encourages everyone not to have a row, which only upsets Beth more.

Will they correct Bertie on his mistake, or will Daisy be forced to take Sinead’s place?
