There’s another dramatic week ahead for Coronation Street, and we have three exciting teaser videos to share.

Well meaning Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is giving Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) all the chances in the world – but even this patient man is going to be sent to the edge.

After an aggressive action, Lauren finds herself collared by the police in the cafe.

And another troubled local is also committing crime as Abi Webster (Sally Carman) finds Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) with her hand in the petty cash.

Cassie is very defensive at first, but soon turns to pleading when she realises that Abi could reveal all to Tyrone and Evelyn (Alan Halsall and Maureen Lipman).

And in other developments, addicted Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) is at risk of a gambling relapse when he is trusted with full access to the business accounts.

It’s clear that those struggling in Weatherfield are going to even worse places next week.

It took longer than we thought for Cassie to resort to stealing from work, but here, she is caught red-handed by an incredulous Abi.

Abi knows for a fact that it’s for Dean, and she informs her that she had plenty of dealings with him in the past.

Cassie ends up getting defensive, feeling judged by Abi but when Tyrone and Evelyn enter the garage, she pales and begs Abi not to say anything.

Abi has a decision to make…

Ed is full of beans as he and Ronnie look to the future of the business, with Ronnie assuring his brother that he won’t keep him in the dark again.

When Ed suggests they need more materials, Ronnie hands him the business credit card, allowing him full control over buying.

Lauren is taking liberties as she turns up late for her shift – right at the end of it. Patient Roy accepts her apology and insistence that it won’t happen again.

But she has barely got her apron on when police arrive and place her under arrest for criminal damage.

She has previously trashed the barbers in a fit of rage over Max’s relationship with Sabrina.

What will the consequences be – and will Roy was his hands of her?
