If there’s one thing all Coronation Street viewers know by now, it’s to not upset Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), unless you want to be found face down in your swimming pool.
Unfortunately, businessman Owen hasn’t got that message, as he winds Stephen up in a new spoiler video.
As Stephen tries to persuade him that he should keep his job at the factory, Owen puts him in his place – something we’ve wanted to see for a while now.
Alone with Stephen in his flat, Owen reveals that he doesn’t trust him, and he doesn’t trust that he’s been running the business above board either.
As Owen elaborates on all the things he finds dodgy about Stephen’s business practices, particularly Seagull Ltd, Stephen’s fists begin to clench, and it becomes clear that he isn’t best pleased.

If there’s one thing Stephen hates, it’s having his misdemeanours rumbled.
His first victim, Leo, lost his life following a confrontation over Stephen’s fraud, while Teddy’s demise came when he revealed his suspicions over Stephen’s involvement in his son’s death.
Next came Rufus, who had discovered that Stephen was drugging Carla Barlow (Alison King) and began blackmailing him, until Stephen found the opportunity to finish him off.
With Owen now suggesting that Stephen is stealing money from the factory, is he cementing himself as Stephen’s next victim?

Todd Boyce, who plays Stephen teased that viewers would be right to be worried.
‘I am sure the viewers will probably think he is at risk, every time someone upsets Stephen the viewers think they are going to die or should watch their back. He certainly sees Owen as someone who is in his way.’
Viewers have recently seen Stephen fail to kill Elaine (Paula Wilcox) after she was able to ring an ambulance, having collapsed thanks to Stephen swapping her blood pressure pills for caffeine ones.
Could he make the same mistake with Owen and finally be caught out?
