Comedian Tom Lucy has recalled an unbelievable situation he once found himself in with a British A-list actor, when they handed him a bag of cocaine and thought he’d done the whole thing.

On Mel Giedroyc’s show Unforgivable, each episode sees three celebrities go into a confessional to declare the sins they’ve committed, so that it can be decided who is the most ‘unforgivable’ out of the lot.

On the upcoming sixth episode of the third series, which is due to air next week, comedian Tom revealed a peculiar meeting he once had with a ‘mega’ famous actor, who he met after they were impressed by a performance he gave at a charity do.

‘I got asked to do stand-up at a very fancy kind of charity dinner, and there was a very famous British actor on the first table in front of me. Like mega, mega fame,’ he recalled.

‘And after the gig, it goes fine, and I’m at the bar, and this actor comes up to me and he says, “Oh I enjoyed that, do you wanna come and join our table and have a drink with us?” About half an hour later this actor says to me, “Do you take drugs?”’

Tom explained that while he has ‘nothing against people who take drugs’, he’s ‘not a drugs-man’ himself.

Nonetheless, he falsely told the actor that he does do drugs… before chaos ensued.

Tom said that the actor in question gave him a little bag of cocaine, which he took to the bathroom of the ‘fancy’ hotel.

‘I’ve never taken drugs before, right, I was trying to Google it but I had no signal on my phone. I’m just gonna pretend,’ he said.

‘So I opened the bag of drugs and I poured it down the loo.’

Having thrown the bag of cocaine away, when Tom returned to the actor and his friends, the megastar reportedly turned to the comedian to ask for the bag back.

‘I said, “What do you mean? I did it.” He said, “You did the whole bag? There was four grams of cocaine in the bag. You need to go to hospital,”’ the comic recollected.

Tom shared how ‘panicked’ the actor became, believing that his life was at risk due to drugs that they’d supplied, and was even ‘talking about calling an ambulance’.

‘Obviously like the more calm I looked the more I looked like I was dying. So anyway, long story short, I owe about £200 to…’ he added, the identity of the person in question a mystery.

Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable airs at 10pm on Dave on Tuesdays and catch up on UKTV Play.
