A dozen children, including two infants, among 74 killed in Kentucky tornadoes— Joe Biden to visit wrecked towns
The Metro says A dozen children are among the 74 dead in Kentucky following the onslaught of tornadoes that tore through the state on Friday.
Kentuckians as young as 2-months and as old as 98-years were among the dead. Of the 12 children lost, two were under a year old, Governor Andy Beshear said on Tuesday.
Searchers digging through the rubble and debris have not uncovered any more bodies in the last 24 hours.
Five other states were in the path of destruction, though Kentucky bares the brunt of the fatalities. The rash of tornadoes killed at least 88 people, with 74 of them in Kentucky, officials said ahead of President Joe Biden’s visit to the devastated state on Wednesday.
