Rudolph Isley – the founding member of The Isley Brothers – has died aged 84, according to a report.

The singer, who had hits For the Love of You, Parts 1 & 2 and Shout, reportedly died on Wednesday.

TMZ reports that the cause of death is unclear, but an insider told the publication that it is believed he had a heart attack.

Isley founded the music group The Isley Brothers alongside his siblings -Ronald, O’Kelly, and Vernon.

The band began when Isley was just a teenager.
