Carol Vorderman was glowing as she spoke about the ‘massive’ reaction she’s had from women after detailing her ‘freer’ love life.
The Countdown legend has said she ‘wasn’t looking for The One’ and instead had ‘special friends’ following two divorces.
The 61-year-old was previously married to Christopher Mather and to Patrick King, breaking up with him in 2000 after 10 years together.
Earlier this month on This Morning, Carol discussed her approach to romance after answering a caller’s concerns about casual dating, saying it was a ‘nonsense taboo that should be broken.’
The maths whizz added: ‘I’ve never felt freer. So I have ignored the looking for one person and I have a number of what I’ve called “special friends”.’
Appearing again on Friday’s instalment of the morning talk show, alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, Carol looked overwhelmed as she revealed the reaction she’d had.
Carol explained: ‘I’m a great believer in chapters in life and some are extended chapters and some aren’t.

‘And I found as I said last time I had a massive response from women that the last 10 years or so I’ve lived a much freer life.
‘I have special friends I’m not looking for one person.’

Carol previously divulged that one of her ‘special friends’ is an astronaut, while another has lasted longer than her marriages.
She said: ‘They don’t know each other, but they know about it. It’s a very honest relationship.

‘One of them has gone on for many more years than my marriage. Yeah, it’s over 10 years.
‘Another is seven. He’s an astronaut. He rang me from the space station.’
