California fires map: The areas hit by devastating wildfires with 400,000 acres of land burned so far
The i says at least 8,000 households have been forced to evacuate as California’s wildfires burn through more than 400,000 acres of land, leaving devastation and destruction in their wake.
Data from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection shows seven active wildfires raging across the western state. The largest is the Dixie fire in Butte County, north of Sacramento, which has incinerated nearly 200,000 acres of land and has been burning for 13 days.
