The Sun – Britain’s worst rioter … aged 12
The Sun says a judge has branded a 12-year-old boy as Britain’s worst rioter who was “more involved in the violence and disorder than any other defendant”. The schoolboy first attacked police and a bus full of passengers in Manchester before joining a second riot three days later.
Elsewhere, the front page says “NHS left killer free to slaughter my son” as it speaks to Emma Webber – the mother of Barnaby, who was one of three people stabbed to death that day. She tells the paper she felt “visceral and genuine shock” when reading the report. Describing Calocane as “evil, twisted, and vicious”, she accuses mental health services of “washing their hands” of him, leaving him free to carry out the attacks.
Britain’s worst rioter revealed as boy, 12, after lout took part in TWO attacks – as girl, 13, among yobs charged
BRITAIN’S worst rioter has been revealed as a 12-year-old boy who took part in two attacks.
The schoolboy first attacked police and a bus full of passengers in Manchester before joining a second riot three days later.
The youngster was seen handing rocks to yobs outside a hotel housing asylum seekers and hurling stones at cops.
He also stood in front of a bus to get it to stop and attacked it as it drove past.
Three days later he was seen wearing a balaclava while throwing more objects at officers and joining looters.
District Judge Joanne Hirst told him he would face “consequences”.
And she told his mum: “He’s more involved in the violence and disorder than any other defendant I’ve seen coming through these courts, adult or child.”
My son was killed by Nottingham knifeman Valdo Calocane…I’ll never forgive NHS for washing their hands of monster
THE furious mother of Barnaby Webber has accused the NHS of washing its hands of violent patient Valdo Calocane — leaving him free to kill her teen son and two others.
Emma Webber, 51, spoke out as a string of catastrophic failings emerged in Calocane’s mental health treatment before he launched his devastating stabbing spree last year.
The killer, 32, was controversially handed a hospital order for manslaughter by diminished responsibility due to his paranoid schizophrenia diagnosis.
A shocking review, released today, into the NHS trust where Calocane was treated prior to the attacks reveals officials missed at least eight chances to stop him killing.
One doctor warned he could kill, three years before the Nottingham attack. Incredibly, the Trust discharged him back to his GP in September 2022.
