Boris doesn’t rule out Euros bank holiday on Monday as petition passes 275,000
The Metro says: Boris Johnson has not ruled out giving everyone in England a day off on Monday if the Three Lions win Euro 2020.
Gareth Southgate’s team beat Denmark 2-1 in extra time last night to secure a place in their first major international final since 1966.
By Thursday evening, a petition for everyone to get an extra day off had received more than 275,000 signatures.
It means it has passed the 100,000 threshold for Parliament to consider the issue and the Government will have to provide a response.
