Biden criticizes ICC prosecutor’s request for Netanyahu arrest warrant
Joe Biden criticizes ICC for arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and senior Hamas members for actions carried out in Gaza.
The US president clearly sided with Israel after ICC prosecutor Karim Khan announced his pursuit of arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Khan is also seeking the arrests of three leading Hamas figures: Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif, and Ismail Haniyeh, for their involvement in Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7 last year.
