Beyonce stormed off stage as her show was hit with sound issues midway through.

The legendary musician, 41, is currently on the US leg of her world-wide Renaissance tour, having previously stunned fans in the UK with her performances.

But while Queen Bey is renowned for her professionalism and putting on an incredible show, things haven’t always gone smoothly on the tour, with more than a few technical issues derailing performances over the past few months.

On Friday, the star was left seething after the sound cut out during her track Alien Superstar, a fan-favourite from her latest offering Renaissance during a show in Arizona.

Videos from the moment see the crowd going wild for the song, with Beyonce and her dancers giving it their everything on stage – until, suddenly, there’s silence.

It appears fans may have first thought Bey was doing a sing-along moment without the music, as the crowd got louder as tens of thousands of voices chanted the lyrics to her.

However it quickly became apparent that this was not intentional, and while Bey carried on singing and dancing for a while, the sound never returned and she ended up storming off stage.

To the massive relief of the audience, the sound was eventually fixed, and Beyonce returned with a bang to finish Alien Superstar in all its glory before carrying on with the set.

And, incredibly, she used the time spent on fixing the malfunction to change into a whole new outfit. Queen.

Videos of the moment have been spreading like wildfire on social media, with fans overheard joking that someone was getting fired for the blunder, and others wondering worriedly what was going to happen with the rest of the set.

While there have been some tech difficulties beyond Beyonce’s control during the tour, it’s only to be expected with the sheer amount of dates she’s doing.

At a recent show, tour crew forgot to turn on the giant fan – an absolutely vitaal prop for a Beyonce concert – leading to the star to sing the words ‘turn the fan on’ as she continued with her set.

She was also seen absolutely fuming at a concert earlier in the summer when the performance was hit by sound issues, with fans instantly noticing the singer’s apparent fury.

But anything she can fix, she does – such as when bad weather delayed her set for two hours, and she paid for trains to keep running late to bring fans home afterwards.

In a move that made headlines around the world, the music icon and mum-of-three shelled out $100,000 (£79,000) of her own money to keep Washington DC trains running late, to ensure her fans got home safely after the show.
